Gate Assist ("the App") is developed and maintained by Ægir Nordø, based in Norway. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. Local Data Storage

All data you create in Gate Assist — including flights, turnaround events, airline configurations, and app settings — is stored locally on your device only, using an on-device SQLite database. Your data never leaves your phone.

2. No Data Collection

Gate Assist does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information with the developer, third parties, or any external servers. No data is uploaded from the App at any time.

3. No Analytics, Tracking, or Advertising

The App does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking tools, advertising frameworks, or third-party services that monitor your usage or behavior. There are no cookies, fingerprinting, or telemetry of any kind.

4. No Account Required

Gate Assist does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.

5. Device Permissions

The App does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photo library, or any other sensitive device features. Gate Assist only uses on-device storage to save your operational data.

6. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the App will permanently delete all associated data. There is no cloud backup or server-side copy of your information. You may also delete individual flights within the App at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Gate Assist is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any data from children or any other users.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
